The Salt Lake County Bar Association & the Utah Minority Bar Association Present:
Sundance ‘n’ CLE @ Brewvies: “3 ½ Minutes, 10 Bullets”
3 ½ Minutes, Ten Bullets is a prize-winning Sundance film that documents the shooting of Jordan Davis, a black 17-year old, and the ensuing trial of his white shooter, Michael Dunn. The documentary highlights the real world, and often deadly consequences of racial bias, specifically with regard to black men and boys, and recounts one community’s search for justice within the judicial system.
After the screening, we will be joined for a panel discussion with Professor Erika George, Dr. Bryan Hotchkins and ACLU Legal Director John Mejia.
