2023 Scholarship & Awards Banquet

The 2023 Scholarship & Awards Banquet will be Thursday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in-person at the Little America Hotel located at 500 South Main Street in downtown Salt Lake City.

Awards - At the Banquet, UMBA honors lawyers, law firms, legal organizations, and community members who have advanced the purpose and mission of UMBA and of minorities in the law. 

Student Scholarships - UMBA awards financial scholarships to law students from the S.J. Quinney College of Law and the J. Reuben Clark Law School who have made significant contributions to diversity in Utah. These scholarships are possible through the generous donations of our members, the legal and business community, and individuals donors. In 2022, students received over $50,000 in combined scholarships and matching funds from their respective law schools. This year, we hope to continue our tradition of providing these critical scholarships to students.
